FAQs
Listed below are replies to some of the questions we are asked most: |
|
What are the differences between cheap and expensive balls?
Balls that are suitable for training or junior matches tend to have lower quality bladders than senior match balls and a tough outer shell, so they can take a lot of punishment in training.
Senior match balls tend to have better quality bladders, which make the ball more responsive, with a much livlier performance. The top match balls are not suitable for schools and junior matches because the ball is much harder to control for kids. | |

| What kind of trainers should I buy?
All of the trainers on our website are suitable for netball training and matches - although some are only suitable for indoor netball (this is clearly stated in the product info).
Shoes for netball need to have good cushioning to help prevent injuries caused by jumping and running. They also need to have some stability so that when you are twisting and turning, your ankle and knee joints are getting some protection. A lot of injuries can be traced back to wearing unsuitable footwear or shoes with little cushioning.
Running shoes are not generally suitable because they offer little stability and the grip is more suited to running only. |

How long will my stuff take to arrive?
Within the UK: If the items you order are in stock, you should receive your order the next working day. For things like shoes and balls we use Initial City Link, which is a secure next working day service. Smaller items like skirts or shirts will be sent using Royal Mail Recorded delivery, which can take 1-2 days. Both services will require a signature, so bear this in mind when you choose your delivery address.
To North America, the EU and other destinations: For our standard delivery service, you should receive your order within two weeks although this can take longer for some worldwide destinations. Our International Express service delivers to most EU and North American destinations in 1-2 days and 4-5 days for countries further away. This obviously costs a lot more! |

Will I have to pay any Customs charges?
Not if your order is being shipped within the EU. If your order is being shipped ouside the EU, your country's Customs may charge you import duty. This does not happen very often, but it is worth checking by telephoning the Customs authority in your country and telling them what you intend to buy. |
